iMessage not working.

I just got the iPhone 11. I got my phone set up with my carrier earlier today and it has been working perfect. All of the sudden my iMessage and FaceTime quit working. They just keep saying waiting for activation. My iMessage is going off my iCloud email not my number. I have googled it and tried all the “solutions” I could find and none have worked. Is anyone else having this problem? If so, how did you fix it?

Messages Troubleshooting.   


Some other things you can try. Do you have access to another WiFi network where you can try? That has worked for several people.


Try a restart.


Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch         


Try a forced restart.


Reset Device.      


If necessary


Hard reset.        


Do a backup and try a factory reset. Then restore from your backup.


Restore to Factory setting.      


Backup - Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup.

Receiving the message you received is common. But, I have not seen a definitive solution for it. I suggest you use my search link in trying to solve your problem: waiting for activation. You will see many links related to your problem.
