I have a MacBook Air and Keynote 10.0 When I set an animation to initiate on click it won't, nothing happens. How can I make it work?

Try this test,

  • open a new blank presentation (File > New)
  • add a text box to the slide (Insert > Text Box) then type a few characters
  • with the text box selected on the slide, go to the Inspector > Animate > Build In
  • click the Add an Effect button then select an effect from the list
  • enter 1.00 in the delay box
  • click the Play button then click once, does it play correctly?
