Apps won’t update

There are certain apps on my phone that aren’t updating, every time I try updating them the phone asks me to enter my Apple ID password but then it tells me that I entered the wrong password. What should I do?

Those apps were acquired under a different Apple ID which is why it is asking that. Delete them and reacquire them under your current Apple ID.
