Some doubts about Macbook battery

Hi,

The first of my doubts is if it is bad for my MacBook Pro to always be plugged in. Could this reduce the battery cycles?

Related to that, I sometimes find that even if the battery is 100% and still connected to the current, it starts to decrease until 90-92% when it starts to charge again. Meanwhile I'm not doing more than reading a document on Preview... Does this have an explanation?

Thank you!

That cycling lower and back higher is fairly typical and expected and intentional behavior with charging most modern batteries now, and is intended to maintain battery lifetime.
