Serial Number is invalid when trying to do Apple trade in online......

MacBook Pro 13" receiving Serial Number is invalid when trying to process an Apple Trade in. Typing Serial number exactly as it appears. Serial number matches what is on the bottom on MacBook as well so that is not the issue. Not sure what to do next???

Invalid Serial Number I am trying to enter my serial number to access my trade-in value for my MacBook Pro 2015, but for some reason my serial number isn't working and when I access the support portal they said to swap the 'o' with '0'. Although my serial number already has the '0' I tried re-typing it in and still there have been some difficulty accessing it.

Copy and paste from:

 Menu > about this Mac

so that you can be certain there are no substitutions such as O for 0, L or I for 1, O for Q, S for 5, or anything else.
