I have a brand new hard drive and need to install Mavricks!!!

i had to replace the hard drive on my imac and i have no operating system how do i install Mavricks back

iMac, OS X 10.11

Restart with the Command and R keys held down and install an OS from there. If the computer's firmware is too old for that to work, you need to install the OS from a physical disk.
