I can't update an app I bought with a different Apple ID.

I have purchased an app from the apple store. Later on, I changed my Apple ID. With my new Apple ID I am still able to access the app but can no longer update it. If I delete the app and download it again, will I have to pay for it again?

Unable to update as purchased with another apple ID I recently switched apple ID, so I wasn't able to update any of my paid apps as I purchased them with the old one, so I repurchased them on the new one. However, I can't update free ones either as they were also apparently "purchased" with the other apple id even though they're free, does anyone know how to fix this?

To update the app, you have to log out of your current Apple ID and log into the App Store with the old ID.

If you want it under the new ID, you'll have to purchase it again.
