Changing apple ID on iPad

Hello,

How do you change the Apple ID on your iPad? We have an older iPad that was set up with my husbands email and we have switched over to my Apple ID. We do family sharing and the iPad shows up under my email but it still shows his old email on the iPad. If I try to log into iCloud or iTunes on the iPad I can't because its his Apple ID that is no longer used.
