Apple Pencil 2 not working

Hi just brought Apple Pencil 2 for my new iPad Pro .. did work the first day.. but today , despite being fully charged and showing connected on the iPad.. pencil is not working can’t see anything on the pencil on double tap as well.. can someone help.

Apple pencil (2nd generation) not working Hello, I just got the pencil and have paired it and it's even charging. My problem is it doesn't work at all. Is it possible it's defective? Why isn’t my Apple Pencil working? My Apple Pencil is brand new and out of the box, I hooked it to my brand new iPad Air and it showed that it was connected and charged 100% but it doesn’t respond to the iPad at all. Nothing is working other than it being connected. I have tried updating my iPad, restarting my iPad, disconnecting and reconnecting Bluetooth, and tightening my tip. What can I do to get this fixed?

Have you already tried to follow the steps provided at section "If your Apple Pencil won't pair with your iPad" in this support article?:--> Use Apple Pencil with your iPad or iPad Pro - Apple Support
