iPad 2 was gifted by my children to me. I used it for long time. Later I reset and erased complete data.
Later, the iPad 2 was gifted to my relative. He is not in contacts and not in good terms. So, the same iPad2 was given to my daughter.
Problem is how to reset it to Factory Settings. I cannot get Apple ID and Password from him. Wanted to restore and erase entire data so that my daughter can use.

As you will discover, unless you are the owner of the AppleID that was last used to activate the device, or unless you can secure the cooperation of the previous owner, you’ll not be able to defeat or bypass the Activation Lock. Without documentary evidence that you are the original owner (such as sales receipt showing the serial number), Apple won’t assist - and nobody here will be able to help you.

This sounds like Activation Lock has been enabled on the device. Activation Lock is a feature used by Apple to prevent theft of devices.
