iPhone backup corrupted

How can I restore my iPhone backup from iTunes in windows as it shows the backup is corrupted? I have sold my old phone and when I am restoring my backup from laptop is shows corrupted. Right now i am having iPhone 7 and last phone that I had was iPhone X. Please help

if the backup is corrupted then you can't use it.
