after transferring data from old phone to new generation SE, I am unable to send and receive email.

iPhone SE, iOS 13

You will need to go into the mail settings and enter your password.


If you can't find that settings, delete and reinstall the mail account.


If that doesn't work contact your mail provider or look at their support site.
