sidecar

My sidecar is not working. I have a 2020 MacBook Pro and a 2018 iPad Pro and the wifi, Bluetooth and everything else is all the same and working, but my iPad is not appearing when I try to connect it. is there anyway to troubleshoot?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15
