Hi i just restored my iphone to a backup

the backup was from about a year ago and none of my photos from icloud have yet to go back on my device when i can access those photos on my PC my question is that how can i get those photos onto my phone

I never backed up photos to the cloud due to space (and privacy), and ended up losing all my photos. I'm wondering if there is any way to restore the photos that are in the backup on my iMac. I'm a bit leery of the apps available for download since they are not coming from Apple.

About back up from itunes will also restore photos from icloud ? Hey I need to ask I have a backup on my PC. If I restore my phone with that backup it will also take my photos back which I have backed up in icloud or not ?

iCloud Photos I restored backup of my iPhone 6 on my iPhone 14pro. Now I can only see pictures from my iPhone 6. I can only access the pictures that were on my 14 from the iCloud web. How do I fix this please? Thank you

Because if you were using iCloud Photos your photos will be in iCloud and not part of a backup.

What does iCloud back up? - Apple Support.

You can "get those photos onto" your phone by enabling iCloud Photos on your device providing you have enough iCloud storage space and device storage space to hold them.
