Can’t airplay Downloaded iTunes purchase from iPad to ATV4.

Internet just went out cause of a storm. WiFi fine. Happened to have the show we were watching downloaded to my iPad. It is an iTunes purchase. Cannot stream it (or any other show) to my ATV4. Get the message “This video is in a format that cannot be streamed to this TV”. Software up to date. Restarted both devices etc. applets set to not play from cloud or start automatically. No joy. Even swapped hdmi cables. Nothing.
