The Magic Keyboard for the IPad Pro 11 is only for the Generation 2 ?

can I use it with may IPad Pro 11 Gen 1 2019?

On the Apple website, under magic keyboard it says the following -

Compatible with

iPad Pro 12.9‑inch (3rd and 4th generation)
iPad Pro 11‑inch (1st and 2nd generation)
