Imovie video uploading
i am trying to upload videos from my external hard-drive onto imovie, so i can edit them, but they imovie wont let me select those files, it would say they are unable to upload. how can i fix that??

What version of iMovie and operating system are you running?
If its iMovie 10, drag the video from your external drive into the timeline of an iMovie 10 project. It should import right in unless the clip is in a format that is incommpatible with iMovie, such as a .avi file if you are running the Catalina operating system.
