I need to update my storage on my iPhone and when I go in to update it says can not connect to iCloud

I need to update my storage on my iPhone and when I go in to update it says can not connect to iCloud. Any ideas?

Try restarting the device -- Restart your iPhone - Apple Support & try again -- Buy more iCloud storage - Apple Support.
