ANY WAY TO GET RID OF AN APP

Has anyone allowed their child to download an app only to regret it? It seems that once you say yes, there is no way to get rid of the app. Even if you uninstall it, the child can just go to the App Store and reinstall. Any ideas?

You can hide it. See the following from Hide App Store purchases - Apple Support

When you hide an app, it won't appear in your list of purchases in the App Store. If you use Family Sharing, the app also won't appear in family members' purchases and won't be available for family members to redownload. But the app will still appear in your purchase history.
