Why can’t i watch a show on apple tv+ offline that i purchased?

On macOS:
Apple TV+ is a subscription service. Its content cannot be purchased. Its content can be downloaded for offline use. Use the Downloads section of the Library for playback.
Similarly, downloaded purchased movies and TV shows from the iTunes Store, can be accessed through the Downloads section of the Library.
Thank you so much for responding and trying to help! I actually just deleted that particular one and redownloaded it.....and it worked just fine! It was probably just a corrupt download.
