so I bought a Eminem album a few years ago on a old iPhone that was never backed up as I broke it and I've been trying to get the album back but when I go onto purchased it doesn't come up with the album I bought the album on the same account that I am using now

Do you have the receipt Apple emailed when you purchased it?
You can contact the iTunes store but if it does not show on their side they probably will tell you to purchase it again.
Does the current album on the store show the same price as the one in your purchase history? If it does while you are in your purchase history click on Report a Problem.
He may have pulled that album from the iTunes Store.
He hasn’t pulled the album from the store as when I search for the album it wants me to buy the whole album again
It is the same album for the same price but this is the issue I have as I doesn’t show up in my purchase history even though I know I bought it
I am 10000% sure I bought it with the Apple ID that I have used since owning my first apple product
But is it the same version as the one you bought? It may not be, it could have been pulled and replaced with a different version. Otherwise there may be a problem with your Apple ID.
If it is not in your purchase history then I can pretty much guarantee you that you did not purchase it with the Apple ID you are currently using. Apple is very meticulous regarding music sales.
