Apple TV+ Setup question

Hi, How are you?

Recently, I have decided to purchase an Apple TV+ Subscription after getting my MacBook Air. The issue I have with it is that I have problems setting it up. I tried to visit the Apple TV+ App on my MacBook Air but for some reason I need to pay to watch my TV Shows and movies I want to watch?

There's another problem for my iPhone 7 as well, It makes me have to use another app and I have to pay for another subscription there for some reason.

Can anyone help me with this or is this just intentional

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.15

Movies that say rent or buy are from the iTunes Store and not free.

This is not like Netflix etc, where all is included in the one App.

Your subscription is for Apple TV +

Apple TV + is Apple Original content. It’s a channel found within the Apple TV App. The shows included in your subscription will have the tv+ logo on them - those are free.
