Reinstall iMovie

I recently deleted iMovie due to glitches

now when I go to the App Store to download it, it only gives the option to update.

I click update and I get the « thinking swirl » but nothing happens.

thanks for your help on this

Hi,

You should be able to update/redownload iMovie even if you have deleted it.

Here's the procedure where you have deleted it: To update/redownload iMovie 10, sign in to the app store and open your purchases folder by clicking on your name at the bottom of the app store side bar. You will see your purchases displayed, including iMovie 10. Redownload/update iMovie from there.
