hello everyone, my 11 pro max was delivered to me in Nigeria from the United States but i found out the sim carrier is locked. i need help on how to go about unlocking it please.

iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 13

Thank you very much! But how do i know the carrier since its it cant be found in the settings of the phone

You need to contact the carrier it is locked to, no one else can unlock it.

You contact the carrier to ask what their unlock policy is and if you qualify to have it unlocked.

Where did you buy this from exactly?

If from Apple. You would have needed to select the carrier it s locked to. if from someone else, contact them and ask them.

He’ll need to specify what carrier he chose when he bought it, or what carrier he used with it. That would be the carrier it is locked to.
