iPad photography questions

i Take photos with my camera and I am wondering if there is an adapter or a way I can transfer My photos onto an iPad. My memory card is a CF not and SD. I do have a CF to usb so would it work if I got the usb to iPad?

also I am looking at all the different models for iPads, and the pro would give me the most bang for my buck right? I’m trying to switch from using my MacBook Air to an iPad.
