Reset mac

I can’t seem to restart my computer back to factory. Like completely wipe it out

Startup your MacBook Air in ➔ MacOS Recovery Mode as indicated in the link (blue color). Erase your drive using DISK UTILITY while in Recovery mode. After that re-install your MacOS. You will then have a MacBook with a factory reset.
