First time user &Setting up my Ipad Pro & online directions seem to be in French & need English so I can't find my answer. How do I move from one page to another

okay I see it & downloading now, thanks. Last nt I thought I downloaded some apps I need, i.e., google, yahoo & a few others. Thought I did it correctly but they are not there. Hope this manual will help.
If you don’t see apps you expect, open the App Store, click on your Apple ID logo in the upper right, and then check “Updated Recently”. If activity is under way, scroll the list down or tap the activity circles.
It should be residing on your iPad. It looks like this. If you don’t see it, check your folders.
