I have a mid 2012 MacbookPro Retina and would like to connect it to an ethernet cable. The machine has two thunderbolt ports (?) two USB ports and an HDMI port, but NO ethernet port. Can I use an adaptor and which one do I get?

When I look at the specs for a mid 2012 MacBook pro I see that Etherent is a standard port. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong model.
