I want to download/buy a show from iTunes, but all of the episodes except for 1 episode gives the option to buy it, but the rest say ''season only'', I want to know if it's safe for me to buy the completed seasons so i can have access to all of the episodes.

so without a season pass i won't be able to watch the show? what if its an old show that isnt being transmitted on tv anymore? do i still have to do the same thing? im trying to buy pretty little liars, the show ended a few years back and its currently on iTunes for $30 i just wanna know if it'll be ok if i buy it before i spend my money lol
No, it says season only, so you need a season pass for that series to watch it.

The show is available as it's on iTunes/Apple TV, so yes you can buy it and it will work,
If it says season only then you need to buy the season pass for the series to watch the other episodes
