My iMac does start with a black screen.... and do not start corectly, any Norwegians who can help me out?
Please reset the NVRAM per the directions in NVRAM Reset and also try restarting in Safe Mode per Safe Mode Reset instructions
Then it is likely a hardware issue. Please make an appointment with your local Apple Authorized Service Provider and take it in. It is impossible for a forum to diagnose hardware issues but if you can tell there power to the machine my guess is either the display or the back light to the display.
