My Apple TV4 remote simply stopped working -- I can't depress the buttons. Has anyone used a universal remote that will work with the Apple TV 4 streaming device? Thank you. Michael

Siri on the Siri Remote relies on Bluetooth communication to the Apple TV. Siri could never work with just infrared.
used a logitech with earlier models, and the earlier models remotes with the the newer siri remote appletv's so I would expect the logitech would still work if I dug it out of the cupboard
