Deleting photos from both photo album and camera roll at the same time
Is there a way to permanently delete photos from both a photo album and Camera Roll without having to reselect them in Camera Roll?

Deleting photos from the camera roll should remove them from a regular album.
Removing them from an album first does not remove them from the camera roll unless you select the DELETE option., not REMOVE FROM ALBUM..
