I bought an iphone 11 on Dec 2019. Then I received an email saying that I have 1 year free apple tv subscription. How can I activate this subscription?

Users have three months to redeem the offer. After that time, the one year offer is no longer available to otherwise qualifying users and devices. (E.g. To redeem on May 3, the new device should have been first activated after February 3.)
Thank you for your answer but I am very sad to learn this.:(( Actually, I was unaware of this condition and I intended to hold this ofter up until an appropriate time to get use of it as much as possible..

Those are the terms and they are well documented. Users are also sent a reminder close to the expiry. You are free to contact Apple but it is within their discretion as to whether an exception is granted and most are turned away due to the terms. It is also well past the expiry at this point.
