iPhone not showing my library

Most of my music library isn't synced to my phone anymore, disappeared. I do not want to pay for Apple Music, I just want my own songs. iTunes (now Music) on my Mac no longer shows my devices nearby.

Missing Music I have recently upgraded my phone on EE to an IPhone 7 and was given 3 months Apple Music for free. When I set up my phone, all of my music previously stored on my phone (from CD’s I have previously loaded on to my PC and IPhone) has disappeared. I have seen messages on the internet saying to make sure the “show Apple Music” and iCloud Music Library” boxes are ticked in settings on the IPhone and 8 have done that but still no music. Music sync issues with Itunes 12.12.7.1 I'm having difficulty transferring new songs to my Iphone no matter how many times I sync. I even went into the "Summary -> Music" settings for my phone within Itunes and quickly noticed that the "Sync Music" to select/deselect music box is no longer there and now replaced with "iCloud Music Library is On". Has anybody else encountered this issue and what can be done to transfer my music to my phone?

Sounds like you have Catalina?

To sync your songs in Music to your phone you need to connect by USB then look in Finder for your phone in the sidebar. Click on it then in the music tab decide which songs, artists etc to syns then sync.
