Adding more than 2 videos on top of each other

Is there a setting that allows you to add more than two videos on top of each other in iMovie? I have a dance routine that I've synced up to one audio file and I'm trying to get them to back and forth between all of them but it will only let me add two videos on top of each other. Is there a setting to change so that I can add more videos? Thanks!

FCPX - Add multiple clips at once, stacked Hey! I would like to put multiples clips at once on the timeline, but I want them the be stacked on top of each other, not next to each other. Is there an easy way to do this? For example, I want to show 4 images on top of the storyline, same duration, same timeline in and out point. The only way I figured to do that is to drop them manually on top of each other each time. Or do a connect edit, reset the playhead, connect edit, reset the playhead, etc. It would be such a time saver. Thank you!

iMovie Add Title at beginning of project, retaining all other spacing I know how to add a clips/backgrounds with Titles superimposed, anywhere in the timeline. I want to add that at the beginning of a movie project that has detached audio and several split clips in both the video & audio timelines. It appears if I add my background/title to the front end of the project, I must then manually move all the video & audio timelines forward, which knocks many split portions out of sync with each other or the detached audio. Is there a way to add some extra 'seconds' or clips at the front end that moves everything else - video timeline, audio timeline, image timeline - forward while retaining all spacing & sync? Alternatively, is there a way to select every timeline, clip & spacing, like a 'Select All,' so that when they inch forward, they all stay in sync, in spite of the many breaks & splits?

No, you can only have one video in the main timeline and one above. A workaround is to share out your movie and then import it back in, where you can add another video on top of it.

Also, I’m unclear as to what effect you are trying to achieve. What does “trying to get them to back and forth between all of them” mean?
