I pay for subscription to ITunes and when I download songs, albums etc. They show up on my laptop. Why won't it let me burn those songs or albums to a disc. I even created a playlist with those songs and still it won't let me burn to disc

You cannot burn subscription music to a disc. It's not yours to keep forever. If you stop paying the subscription, you lose access to that music.
