I still cant get my emails on my cell phone. I changed the password, but it won't work.

I am trying to get my emails on my cell phone and can't get them updated. I changed the password and supposedly it is set, but my emails won't update.

iPhone 7, iOS 10

delete the account in Settings, Passwords and accounts, and add it back
