cancelling subscriptions on Apple App

I cancelled subscriptions on Apple App for HBO and STARZ and received a email the next day for billing for the subscriptions for these two. Which is it? Cancellation or billing?

If you cancelled it less than 24 ours before it was set to renew, it may still renew and charge you.

You can contact iTunes Billing for a refund: iTunes Store - Contact Us - Official Apple Support
