Remove an Apple ID from Mac

On my MacBook Air, there are two apple IDs for media and purchases - mine for App Store, and my mom's for Music, Books and TV. How do I change all to mine? Neither my mom nor I remember the password to her Apple ID, and say we can't possibly reset the password, how do I remove her Apple ID from my Mac completely without needing to provide the password?

You need the password. Where is it telling you the password can't be reset? Have you tried the links below?


Enter the Apple (iCloud) ID and click Forgot Password.

Apple ID – Forgot Password            


If necessary, contact Apple ID Support. See the Apple Support articles below for contact information.

Contact Apple for help with Apple ID account security - Apple Support.   (Link doesn’t always load)
