how can I add one of my old devices to my account?

I'm trying to log into my iphone 5 to give it to my daughter, but i forgot my passcode. how can I add my iPhone 5 to my account ?

I would advise that you follow the steps listed in: What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support


Then consult: Help your child set up an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support, and Family Sharing and Apple ID for your child - Apple Support
