While I had seen mention of portable Mac keyboard issues, over years;

I've no exact reference in more recent sense, to provide for repairs.

These two links are OK, second one offers choices depending on the

service options Apple may have available to your country/region.

With the closure of the Apple Stores—you are still able to send it in for repair, Apple will send you a shipping box.

Because most who reply to these support community discussions generally

are not Apple employees and do not represent the company. All we can do

is volunteer non-compensated 'free' advice; and all I may do is refer you to

Apple, Inc sites and related official Apple support links. ~ Here's more info:

• Apple Keyboard Service Program for MacBook, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro - Apple Support

Long list of "Eligible models" build years, and configurations are within main link.

So are instructions; this page also can direct one to other regions. See site page

for additional details about this. For other info, contact Apple directly.

• Apple's butterfly-keyboard issues affecting MacBooks: a timeline (to 2019) - Business Insider

Was working on this reply and double-checked links; then had notice in email

that another reply to your thread (that I'm following) was posted, little bit ago.

So this now looks a bit repetitive..

..And my earlier reply also has info

on how to submit repairs to Apple.

Good luck & happy trails!🌻🌤
