Disc imported tracks deleted from music cloud library

I can see how to rectify this a track at a time but this is too time consuming as I have a lot of CD imported music. Can anyone tell me how to fix this in a few clicks?

You can select a range of tracks by clicking one, then shift-clicking another. Once you have a selection you can right-click and add all to the library in one action. However iCloud Music Library may still want to eliminate what it perceives as duplicates, so the state of ether these tracks or the recent additions may change once more.

Hello Malditof_London,

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are having an issue with songs imported from discs to the Music app on your Mac and iCloud Music Library. To help with this, please see the info in these Apple resources on issues with iCloud Music Library and if you see any icons next to the songs:

Identify cloud status icons in your music library on your Mac or PC

If songs are missing from your music library after you turn on Sync Library

If your songs are grayed out

Cheers!

Note that iCloud Music Library will attempt to eliminate duplicates. If you import a new version of a track either that one or the original will be treated as ineligible. Making both available in the library may be possible if you edit the metadata before import.

Hi Starr.C, thanks for the links and info. The tracks I'm having trouble with have the

I can click on this icon and add it to library again but only a track at a time. What I wanted to know was if there is a way of doing this as a set instead of one track at a time? The link you sent me mentions manual deletion and no alternative. Is that the only solution to do it quickly, delete and then reimport the CD?

Thanks
