Airpod pros

Just go them and I saw it came with a lightening cable, but do I need a different adaptor for the plug?

There was no plug in the package and the lightening cable doesn't fit in any of my current plugs.

What are my options before I spend any more money. Thank you.

The AirPod Pros ship with a Lightning - USB-C cable. You most likely have a traditional USB port on your computer, in which case you will need a different cable such as: https://www.apple.com/ca/shop/product/MXLY2AM/A/lightning-to-usb-cable-1m?fnode=97

The Lightning cable that came with the Airpods is for charging if you don't want to use the wireless charging feature or don't have a wireless charging mat to place them on.

You plug the lightning side into the bottom of the Airpods case, and the other side (USB-C) into a USB-C charger or USB-C port in a computer.

USB-C chargers come with certain models of iPhones and iPads.

If you don't have a USB-C charger or USB-C port available on your computer, then you can use the Lightning cable from your iPhone or iPad to charge the Airpods case.
