My AirPods disconnect and when I reconnect them only left one comes back

Hello, I'm using Airpods 1, they were working fine but a few months back I noticed a problem. When I connect, both of them work fine for a while but suddenly both of them would disconnect and when I reconnect them, only left one comes back, so I'm assuming there's a problem with the right Airpod. I've tried resetting them and all but I still couldn't fix the problem. I can't seem to figure out the reason why this is happening.
