My macbook pro 2019, notified me to upgrade OS Catalina and after clicking the software update my computer was stuck on loading the white bar with a black screen, i decided to force restart after 5hours of waiting... i open again and still the white bar is loading for several hours and again it was stuck.. i need advise what is best way to solve this issue, i have important files to recover, im disappointed to this upgrade i might lost my projects..

Try a SafeBoot https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262
Takes noticeable longer to get to the login screen, does a 5-15 minute disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache, etc. Login
