Sound

I can't get my sound to work. Nothing happens when I touch the buttons on my iMac.

iMac 21.5", macOS 10.15

Please reset the SMC 2-3 times with no peripherals attached. SMC Reset

Ensure there is nothing plugged into the audio port on the back of the computer.

No sound from iMac When I open sound on system preferences, the only option is Digital Out, and it says the selected device has no output options. If I plug in headphones, that comes up as an option, and I can hear sound through the headphones.
