Battery stops getting charged over 80% with Optimised battery charging turned on

I had this weird issue on my 11 pro Max today where my phone stopped charging after 80%. But when I restarted my phone there was an increase in the battery percentage but while charging it does not display more than 80%. I need to restart the phone to check the actual level the phone’s been charged. Facing this issue after updating to13.4.1 as well.

Anyone faced this issue?

iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 13

May be the following helps:

  • Make sure phone is not getting too warm
  • Use the supplied charger / cable
  • Restart the phone after disabling optimise charging and then connect to charge
