activation lock

Were any of you able to unlock you ipad without proof of purchase? I have had this ipad for 4+ years and suddenly apps were not downloading and my ipad was not updating, so impulsively I reset it. However, I do not remember the icloud email and password I made 5 years ago and now Im stuck at activation lock and cant access my own ipad!

If you forgot your Apple ID - Apple Support
