My iphone 8 is disabled and is asking I connect to iTunes but the problem is i've never synced it to my computer before. What should I do ? Also if i take it to the apple store and they unlock it there does that mean that all my stuff will get deleted ?

Follow these instructions (which include connecting to iTunes). Don't worry about previous sync (or lack thereof). If you have done a backup previously, you will be able to recover it. If you haven't, you will lose everything. That's true regardless of how you proceed (Apple Store or not).
