JBL Everest elite headphones Bluetooth

My MacBook Pro and iMac will stay connected to JBL Everest elite headphones over bluetooth?

Headphones will briefly connect (couplke seconds) before showing 'Not Connected'? Same headphones have no issue on iphone or ipad.

If you hold the Shift Option keys you can get to a BT from the upper right menu bar BT icon> Debug menu>Reset
